Deep cleanings are also known as Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing. Scaling is the process of removing tartar from the surfaces of teeth. Root Planing is the process of smoothing root surfaces.

How should I prepare for periodontal scaling and root planing?

To prepare for periodontal scaling and root planing:
